1. Your insulin levels drop
The insulin level drops when you are on a ketogenic diet. During lower levels of insulin fatty acids most rapidly release from the body's fat tissue, releasing them to be used as fuel.

2. You can start feeling sick
One of the most unfortunate side effects of the ketogenic diet is Keto Flu. Due to keto flu, you may suffer from headaches, nausea, fogginess, muscle cramping, and fatigue. To get rid of this, drink adequate water and get enough sleep.

3. Your breath might smell bad
People have changes in breathe odour due to the keto diet. During the ketogenic diet, the body produces a ketone called acetone and it carries the odour.

4. Constipation
You may experience some digestive discomfort during the ketogenic diet. The problem of constipation occurs due to low intake of fiber. To get rid of this problem consume an adequate amount of fibre.

5. Your body might slow down
You may feel fatigue while following the ketogenic diet. But once your body adapted the diet, you will not face any fatigued.
